Rania Alam, a seasoned visual artist, has dedicated over 19 years to the world of art. With more than 11 years of experience as an art teacher, she has nurtured creativity and inspired countless students. Beyond the classroom, Rania actively contributes to the cultural development of Bangladesh as the coordinator of Flame Arts Open Studio—a non-profit organization committed to promoting creativity and culture in Dhaka.
Rania firmly believes that art holds the power to soothe our minds and foster positivity. Through her work, she blends reality with imagination, creating a new lens through which we can perceive life. As a responsible citizen and artist, Rania feels a deep commitment to raising awareness and consciousness in her community. She uses the language of art to address pressing issues and inspire change.
Rania’s artistic journey is marked by exploration. Beyond academic knowledge, she seeks experiences that enrich her skills and vision. Her canvas becomes a playground where she combines acrylics colours, and compositions. Working in a semi-abstract style, Rania captures the essence of her subjects, infusing her paintings with innovation. As a printmaking specialist, she skilfully reflects transparency and depth in her techniques.
In addition to traditional canvas work, Rania embraces three-dimensionality. She experiments with 3D materials and paper scroll paintings, tailoring her art to the demands of each exhibition. Her creations invite viewers to step into a world where colours dance, emotions resonate, and hope blooms.
Rania Alam’s art transcends boundaries, connecting hearts and minds. Through her brushstrokes, she invites us to celebrate unity, respect nature, and build a peaceful existence on Earth.
